Through my own healing journey, I came to understand how powerful good therapy can be—and that’s what inspires the work I do today. That early realization lit a spark in me—a deep passion to one day offer that same healing space to others. My path to becoming a therapist has been shaped by that drive: to walk alongside others through their challenges, and to provide the kind of care and understanding that made such a difference in my own life.
Born in Nicaragua and eventually raised in the Bay Area, I bring a unique perspective to my work that welcomes people from all walks of life. My journey has given me an acute sensitivity to the complex intersections of cultural identity and mental health, especially for communities of color and underserved populations.
My therapeutic approach is both holistic and personalized, drawing from various modalities. I prioritize centering your experience and crafting a therapy that works specifically for you—you are unique, and your therapy should be too. I specialize in supporting clients through the lasting impacts of trauma, especially when it stems from early attachment wounds, neglect, or overwhelming life experiences. Modalities I draw from the most include Attachment, Somatic, Narrative, EMDR, Internal Family Systems, Child Parent Psychotherapy and Dialectical Behavioral therapies. I am trauma-informed to gently help you reconnect with yourself and move toward meaningful change. My practice is insight-oriented and strengths-based.
I believe in meeting you exactly where you are in your journey, drawing on a blend of:
